Environmental research strengthened

It’s time for the opening of the Unit of Environmental Change at the Department of Thematic Studies. It starts on Thursday 16 October with the first in a series of lectures by internationally recognised environmental researchers. With the Unit of Environmental Change, LiU gets a new interdisciplinary platform, where some 60 researchers join to address global environmental challenges.

Collaboration with leading university

A new agreement between LiU and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore paves the way for a new type of postgraduate education and strengthens existing collaboration. Beginning in summer 2015, a total of 10–15 research students from the two universities will be able to start the new postgraduate courses that will lead to a common qualification.
